Site User Guide
Book AheadMany of the Westlink sites are located in Telecentres, TAFE's, Hospitals and Schools. Generally a room for the general public to view Westlink programs is available, however this isn't always the case. Ringing the co-ordinator a week beforehand and booking the venue for the date and time of the program ensures that the room will not be booked for another purpose. Check our satellite reception centre list for full details of site co-ordinators near you. Taped Programs Westlink realises that it's not always possible for people in remote communities to view the program live. Videos of missed programs are available upon request and at a cost. Contact your Westlink co-ordinator in your town for further details. Be Punctual Westlink programs start on time as per the Program Guide so make sure that you arrive early at a satellite reception centre. If you would like a copy of the Program Guide, contact the Westlink office or click on the program guide link on the menu. Be Considerate Many of our co-ordinators are volunteers and run the Westlink site over and above their duties as nurses, teachers and principals. Be patient and try to plan ahead in your use of a site so that they can make time in their busy schedules to help you. Program Participation Westlink has talkback facilities which means that you the viewer can participate live in some of the programs on offer. If you are participating in such a program the feedback numbers to the Westlink studio only are below: Studio Toll Free Number: 1800 678 208 Studio Fax: 08 9485 2002 Note: These numbers are not available except when a talkback program is being broadcast. |
